Default Need some help.

I need some help from someone who knows his way around Photoshop.
I have to make a C# program and I have problems with the user interface because C# does not recognize transparent backgrounds, it renders them as white.

So, what I need help at is making the background 100% RGB (189,189,189) - that's some gray color.
I can set the background myself but near the layer's edge the color gets modified from 189,189,189 to 188,189,189 or 186,186,186 186,189,188 etc. The problem is that i can only make one color transparent, in my case 189,189,189 (could be any other tho).

I've added two files in the archives below, one with the picture and the background, the other is the picture without background. I would need this by tomorrow if possible; if not, i guess it can wait a bit, just let me know you're on it.

If you need more details about my problem feel free to ask.

Download the files here: http://www.filefront.com/15739869/gui.rar

Honestly I don't know anything about C#, but it'd be really surprising if it didn't support transparent images, as VB2008/VB.NET do. Which format are you using for the images?
Try swapping around GIF and PNG.

I tried swapping between PNG and GIF both interlaced and normal modes but nothing.
From what I've read there are only two ways of making something transparent in C#:

-first is the one I use; you have to choose a RGB color which will be rendered as transparent (and here is a problem too: if you put one picture over the other and the one on top is transparent, the transparency goes all the way to the desktop, so you don't see the image - you see the desktop.

-second requires declaring the picture as an object and then drawing it to the screen. Still it does not recognize the transparency in pictures; works almost the same way as the first one, but it's a lot more complicated.

Anyway, if none knows how to do that in Photoshop, I'm simply gonna take pixel by pixel and make it the right color.

Have you tried adding three layers of transparent RGB individually?

Well, why don't you use ImageReady's magic eraser at a high tolerance to delete the background, and then copy/paste the image with, as background color, the RGB color you want?
